Oiling, sealing, brushing or colouring parquet flooring

The surface treatment determines what a parquet floor looks like, how resistant it is and what care effort it requires.

Oiled surfaces

Oil emphasizes color and grain of wood. Small traces of use can often be partially reworked. For this, an oiled surface requires regular and appropriate care.

Sealed surfaces

A lacquer sealant forms a closed protective layer and is comparatively easy to care for. Scratches can be more visible and can usually not be eliminated punctually.

Brushing and colouring

Brushing can make the natural wooden structure more prominent. Coloured oils or suitable coating systems alter the effect of the soil without completely replacing it.
