Frequent questions about parquet sanding
How much does it cost to sand parquet?
The price depends, among other things, on the area, condition, need for repair, desired surface and local conditions. For a reliable offer, we visit the floor or check meaningful photos and information.
How much wood is cut down?
Only as much material as necessary is removed. Decisive are scratch depth, unevennesses and the available usable layer.
How often can parquet be sanded?
This depends on the remaining useful layer. Massive parquet can usually be renovated more often than multi-layer parquet. Before starting, we check whether further grinding is possible.
How long does the renovation take?
Duration and drying time depend on the area, the scope of repair and the selected oil or paint system. We call a reliable schedule after the examination.
When is the floor accessible again?
This depends on the surface system used, on temperature and humidity. You will receive the specific waiting times with our care and use recommendation.
Should the rooms be empty?
For an even result, a room should be completely free. Sectional processing is only useful in certain cases.
When should painting work take place?
Our grinding technology works low-dust, but not completely dust-free. Ideally, we coordinate the order of trades before work begins.
Is a visit necessary?
For an exact offer and the examination of the usable layer, a visit often makes sense. Alternatively, meaningful photos as well as information on area and soil type help first.
